Beyond Burnout: Vicarious Trauma, Systemic Exhaustion and Integrative Recovery for Clinicians

This workshop is a focused, integrative experience designed for mental health clinicians navigating the impact of vicarious trauma, burnout, and systemic exhaustion.

Together, we will explore how cumulative clinical exposure affects the nervous system, emotional capacity, and professional identity and introduce an integrative framework for restoration and sustainable care.

This offering bridges education and embodiment, offering clinicians both insight and practical pathways toward recovery within their work.

Hi there!

I’m Valencia J. Wilson, LCSW, MSW, MPH — licensed mental health professional and the founder of Rooted and Whole Wellness.

Rooted and Whole Wellness began as a mental health therapy practice and is expanding into a broader model of care that addresses burnout, vicarious trauma, and systemic exhaustion among mental health professionals. Through community healing spaces, wellness funding initiatives, and trauma-informed education, my work focuses on restoring capacity in clinicians and reimagining what sustainable care systems can look like.

At the heart of this work is a simple belief: when we care for clinicians, we strengthen every system they touch.
