Spirituality and faith are also welcome here when they are meaningful to you. For many women, spiritual grounding or faith is part of healing, meaning-making, and reconnecting with themselves. This exploration is always client-led, never assumed, and integrated within clinical care in a way that honors your values and lived experience.

It is about restoring connection, regulation, and capacity within the whole self.


I’m Valencia J. Wilson, LCSW, MSW, MPH, a licensed mental health therapist and founder of Rooted & Whole Wellness.

I support women navigating chronic stress, trauma, burnout, and women’s health concerns through an integrative, trauma-informed approach to therapy that bridges psychotherapy, nervous system regulation, and mind-body awareness.

My work is grounded in the understanding that mental health is shaped not only by internal experiences, but also by lived realities, relationships, cultural expectations, chronic stress, and the environments we move through every day.
